TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Myofascial trigger points are extremely common. Trigger points are painful when pressed on, cause a shortening of the muscle fibers, and have a special property called referred pain. Active trigger point referral symptoms can include dull aching, deep, pressing pain, burning, or a sensation of numbness and fatigue. Trigger points are also an extremely common factor in headaches, neck pain, low back pain, and much more. A trained therapist can find and address these points to decrease pain and help resolve chronic dysfunctional patterns of movement and posture in the body.
